The Wedding Story of Jess & Josh.

Jess and Josh, individually, are generous, charming, funny, sincere and all you have to do is look at them for a second and know that their heart is just so good. 

What a rare chance to meet just “one” human like that in your life; so imagine my surprise when I discovered there were “two” of them in one place.

From that moment on, all I cared about, all my worries, hopes and efforts revolved around doing justice to their spirit, their sense of humor, the way they freely expressed emotions with their whole hearts and bodies (their unapologetic dance moves)… 

I felt honored to be the one chosen to photograph their wedding celebration in Chicago. I immediately wondered, what if another photographer had gotten the job, and what if they hadn’t seen Jess & Josh or understood their heart, and what if they’d missed all these layers of their beauty and goodness?

As I told their story with my camera on that chilly October day, I thought, “please dear Lord of Weddings, let me do justice to their souls”. I know it and I see it, and others need to see it too. Because loving with your whole heart is something the world needs more of, and something more humans need to be inspired by.
