i love me some adventurous, life-loving, fresh-air thriving couples who value those simple, beautiful things in life.
couples like steph and russ, who are head-over-heels in love, completely comfortable with who they are, who take the time to notice the bugs, the dust, the stars, and live every minute mindfully, especially on their wedding day. their love-celebration was nothing short of a true representation of their story and personality. a laid-back, love-fest, focused on having a “real good time” from start to finish.
there was early morning fishing and swimming in the cold creek nearby, exchanged love notes tucked in their dog ruka’s collar, favorite home recipes served at the reception, framed portraits of absent loved ones, a walk down the isle in mom’s wedding dress..
once the night fell, i took a few steps back, and a few more, and a few more.. until i could grasp all the elements i wanted in my frame. the strangely bright yet dark blue sky, the jagged tree line of ponderosa pines, and in the distance, a long glowing strand of light scalloping above the banquet tables surrounded by dearest friends and family.
come, and have a seat there as well..
this is the meaningful wedding story of steph and russ, in payson arizona.
