when I come to photograph your wedding, I don’t “clock-in” and “clock-out”. I’m present and invested physically and emotionally to tell your story authentically from beginning to end. my heart beats and bounces along yours throughout the beautiful chaos of the day, my eyes picks up all your personal touches, the bits & pieces of your story, and I anticipate not just the grand, obvious moments, but also the more subtle, often over-looked whispy moments that add layers of meaning and emotional depth to your images.
I don’t come to your wedding as a “camera technician” to snap glossy, predictable photos, i come as an artist, to capture your own unique definition of commitment. I believe with my whole heart, that the investment you’ve made in crafting your celebration and all the intentional details you’ve dreamt-up, should be documented in all their true, imperfect, momentous glory.
if you’ve sat through a wedding before, looked at each other and said “this is not us.”, we’re probably a great fit.
is the new
the couples in my images look so relaxed and photogenic, because I photograph them as they are experiencing a sincere emotion. at that moment, they feel completely natural & authentic. a session with me is all about movement, connection, being in the moment and spending quality time together… it’s like a great first date!
I photograph you in a way that doesn’t compromise your personality & spirit. instead of making you stand in cliché poses that make you feel weird and contrived, I invite you to take part in a series of playful and heartfelt interactions, where you feel safe to let your guards down and be your most flattering, true, beautiful self.
your wedding is a statement of who you as a couple. it is your first creation together, expressed by each thoughtful decision and intentional detail. I honor and respect your creation by photographing your wedding with emotional truth – void of awkward trends – this is a story you will be proud to pass down.
I believe the priceless images we create together cannot aimlessly float in cyberspace. they are meant to live in books that will age, collect dust over the years, and appreciate in value.
the pages of your wedding album will be flipped and traveled by the fingers of your grand-kids one day. stories of your vivacious spirit and youthful beauty of “back in the day” will be told by a fire, and eyes will look up at you with a new sense of understanding and admiration. these heirlooms will be cherished and passed down through generations so that you can leave behind your trace… your legacy.
i invite you to start your collection of family heirlooms with me.
